Notification regarding addition to the list of household industries

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 16th February, 2005
S.O. - Whereas certain additions/ alterations which the Central Government proposed to make in the list of household industries (Annexure IIIA) of the Master Plan for Delhi 2001 were published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary vide Public Notice S.O. No. 1231 (E) dated 4.11.04 in accordance with the provisions of Section 44 of the Delhi Development Act, 1956 (61 of 1957) inviting objections/ suggestions on the proposed additions/ alterations as required by sub-section (3) of Section 11-A of the said Act, within thirty days from the date of the said notice.
2. Whereas 63 objections/suggestions were received with regard to the proposed additions/ alterations and a Committee was constituted under the Chairmanship of Commissioner (Plg.), DDA to consider the objections/ suggestions and give its recommendation. The Central Government have, after carefully considering the recommendations of the Committee, decided to modify the Master Plan 2001;
3. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 11-A of the said Act, the Central Government hereby makes the following modification in the said Master Plan for Delhi- 2001 with effect from the date of Publication of this Notification in the Gazette of India.
Modification :
On page 177 of the Gazette of India, dated 01.08.1990, the following additions be made:
(i) In continuation of Gazette Notification No. S.O. 928 (E) dated 16.8.2004 which was published in the Gazette of India on 17th August, 2004 following additions be made in the list of Household Industries in Annexure-IIIA:

ii) In partial modification of Gazette Notification No. S.O. 928 (E) dated 16.8.2004 which was published in the Gazette of India on 17th August, 2004 following changes are made
(a) The Nomenclature of industries mentioned at Item Nos. (xviii), (xx) and (xxi) be changed as under:-

c) The clause regarding storage of chemicals be modified as under :-
“Storing of chemicals listed under Schedule I and/ or II of the Manufacture, Storage and Import of Hazardous Chemical Rules, 1989 and Public Liability Insurance Act, 1990 shall be prohibited”.
